The Lodges
Our five, handcrafted timber lodges provide a truly luxurious stay while still allowing you to soak up all of nature’s benefits. Each lodge was meticulously designed by us (Emma & Gavin), with British furnishings from Tom Dixon and Margo Shelby bringing individuality and character, while panelling gives the lodges depth and warmth. For a restorative night’s sleep, all the beds have a memory foam mattress and soft, fluffy duvets and pillows.
Each lodge is named after a different element of nature: Pebble, Blossom, Willow, Lavender, and Feather. While they all have their own decking areas – perfect for watching the famous Suffolk sunsets – a few things set them apart like the number of beds they have (twin or king-size), and their proximity to the facilities.
2 night minimum stay. Check in 4pm & checkout 10am. *Self catering.
Pebble
Pebble has a king size bed and is the only lodge with an ensuite bathroom (the others are a very short walk away). It’s close to the outdoor kitchen and wellness studio - perfect for people who like everything on their doorstep.
Blossom
Blossom is just beyond Pebble and is perfectly placed with uninterrupted views out onto open farmland. It has a large king size bed, private decking, and is close to all amenities.
Willow
Slightly further along the garden, you’ll find Willow, complete with beautiful farmland views and a private decking. This lodge has twin beds, which makes it perfect for friends sharing. It’s still very close to the toilets and shower rooms.
Lavender
Our second to last lodge is Lavender, which has a good amount of privacy due to the way it’s positioned - not to mention the best spot to watch the sunrise. This lodge has twin beds and is just 40m from the toilets and shower rooms.
Feather
Feather is the lodge furthest away from the main house and kitchen, and has uninterrupted views of the beautiful farmers fields that nestle against Toad Hall. It has a king size bed and is perfect if you want a little more privacy. The toilets and shower rooms are a short 50m away.
All 5 Lodges
The lodges are available to be booked singularly or in groups - up to 10 people*. From family gatherings and celebrations to anniversaries, birthdays and reunions, our Toad Hall Lodges are designed to bring people together, reconnect, relax and embrace nature’s beauty.
Shower Rooms
We have purposely built the shower rooms just a short walk away from the lodges, to keep the feeling of ‘living within nature’ just as it should be – they are less than 50m away. Each one has a huge power shower, with body wash provided, as well as a heated towel rail and toilet – when you step inside and close the door, it will feel like home from home. We have one shower room for each lodge, so there’s no need to share with other guests.
Outdoor Kitchen
We believe that food is the sacred ingredient that brings people together, whether it’s cooking or eating. Our outdoor kitchen is a covered area, with ample seating and decking. We have a large Grill/BBQ, gas hob, oven and toaster. Surrounded by fire pits and overlooking the fields, it’s a beautiful place to cook, eat, drink, and relax, surrounded by nature and wildlife.
Because we want guests to be able to have as much (or as little privacy) as they like, we also have a courtyard for guests to use, as well as private decking areas by each lodge.
